This felting wool is 100% made in USA (including the fiber!) unlike many of the other felting batts on the market. If you love supporting small scale domestic production, you can feel good about this product. 40% of the wool in these batts is merino from Texas, and 60% is a mix of medium grade wool from the Eastern US. It is small batch dyed and carded on a beautiful farm in Central Kentucky.
This wool is fairly soft, and fairly short staple with hardly any vegetable matter. It is very uniform and really lovely to work with.
This palette includes 21 mini-hanks of wool. Each hank is 1/8th ounce.
